The iconic rockin' band from the '70s is hitting the road once more, this time with their original singer. This December, Foreigner is heading back for a special round of showes with Lou Gramm, as part of their massive 50th anniversary celebrations which has been going on for quite a while now. One thing's for sure, fans both old and new can't get enough of their five-decade legacy.
This September, the band is dropping a reissue of their 1981 album "4," packaged as "Foreigner 4 Deluxe." The record features their big hits "Urgent", "Juke Box Hero", "Break It Up", "Waiting For a Girl Like You", and "Luanne". The upcoming project is said to feature "extensive super deluxe editions" of their legendary tracks.
"This package, and particularly the stunning Atmos mixes, present a spectacular culmination of one of the most exciting periods of my life," Mick Jones shared in an official statement.
Touring Mexico and South America earlier this year with the legendary Lou Gramm, the band looks forward to sharing the stage with the original frontman once more this December. As the holidays come rushing in, it sure is the perfect Christmas gift to all of their fans.
"He was an integral part of the writing and recording of the Foreigner 4 album, and his presence will add a historic dimension to our forthcoming tour," Said vocalist Luis Maldonado.

In October 2024, Foreigner was finally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The long-awaited achievement shook the industry, with millions of fans and fellow artists celebrating the milestone. Dua Lipa and Cher opened the ceremony with a medley of the band's classic hits. Samm Hagar introduced the band, and hinted at their fans' persistence in making their voices heard - a Hall of Fame award is long overdue for Foreigner. With a slew of chart-toppers from the '70s and '80s, they've been qualified for over two decades already.
"That's how good the songs are," Hagar said, as cited from WXXI News. "Who deserves this more than Foreigner?"
On stage, Demi Lovato, Slash, and Kelly Clarkson stirred the crowd, and everyone went into massive shock as Lou Gramm joined in Clarkson's "I Want to Know What Love Is" performance.
