This year, they've got a massive set of shows, including a run for "An Evening with Heart" and "Royal Flush Tour" dates. Following a cancelled trek last year due to Ann Wilson's recent battle with cancer, the band is making up for lost time - by rocking our 'cause the singer says she's now back stronger than ever.
"I feel really strong. I've been preparing and all that, and I'm healthy. I'm clear. I'm a little nervous because I haven't done it in a year, but I'm there," she told PEOPLE.
After a challenging journey to rgeain strength, Wilson's heart is ready to rock. Following chemotherapy and sharing that the results were "the good kind", "I'm just really curious to see what I feel like when I walk out there. I think it's just going to be great. I feel really empowered right now."
Heart's legacy is one of the music industry's best highlights from their heyday back in the late 70s and 80s. Defining two decades of rock, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2013. Realizing how their fans stood by them through health, challenges, ups and downs, these people have become their family. For over five decades of sonic history, the band's achievements wouldn't be possible without their steadfast support. "These people just seem to ride the waves along with us," said Ann.
In a statement, Ann Wilson shares how Heart is able to give rock music such a unique character. As some of the globe's best musicians have played with the band, it's their music that will continue to live on. "I'm very proud to be a part of it all and I will give all of myself to it as long as we both shall live. It's magic!"
