The Rocket Man Show, an incredible tribute to some of music's greatest stars, is coming to town! The Rocket Man Show, a phenomenal tribute to Elton John's music, will be playing at the Toyota Oakdale theatre on Friday, September 11th, 2026.
The Rocket Man Show, featuring Rus Anderson, is the ONLY tribute to Elton John that has been handpicked by the great man himself to perform with him for several projects. Rus Anderson was also chosen by Elton as his official stunt man and body double. He was also featured in the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour media. He not only looks like Elton John but he performs with the same style and panache that the great man himself does.
This tribute show will be performing songs such as 'Rocket Man', 'Your Song', 'Tiny Dancer' and many more for one night only. The Rocket Man Show is written and performed by Rus Anderson, Elton John's official stunt and body double. He has collaborated with Elton on numerous projects and has been involved in the production of Elton's 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' world tour. The tour has been featured in media such as E! 's face off Of The Cover Bands and the official Elton John Roblox game. This incredible tribute show will perform ALL of Elton John's hit songs from his catalog of famous songs, "Rocket Man," "Your Song," "Tiny Dancer," and many more!
The Toyota Oakdale Theatre is a venue located at 95 South Turnpike Road in Wallingford, CT. It was originally opened in 1954 and went through a complete renovation in 1996. The theatre is an intimate venue that holds approximately 4,803 patrons in the main auditorium. The main auditorium is arranged in a traditional theater format with aisles running between sections of seats. The Toyota Oakdale Theatre has several sections of seating each with their own ticket type to ensure that you get the best seats for The Rocket Man Show.
