The Toyota Oakdale Theatre was built in 1954 and many refurbishments in the main auditorium has turned into a prime 4,803 capacity theater with excellent ambiance and world class acoustics. Pollstar has credited the venue for dedicating its 70 years to the evolution of American pop culture. For the longest time, this legendary venue hosted the most exciting events to come through Connecticut. JIM  HENSON’S LABRYNTH IN CONCERT 40TH  ANNIVERSARY

Thursday September 24, 2026  

This concert features a full movie shown through an HD screen with accompaniment from a live rock band. It’s a full line up with synth, percussion, guitars, and all the works! Fans can totally watch out for a totally immersive experience with incredible lightning effects. You’re sure to be transported into Goblin City. This cult favorite film will feature David Bowie’s original vocals, which will be played in conjunction with the band. This event will feature the soundtrack written and composed by Bowie and Trevor Jones.

OUTLANDER IN CONCERT

The award winning series ran for over a decade. The drama series in combination with science fiction and fantasy has taken over the world by storm. Based on the book series of the same name, Outlander was definitely a guilty pleasure for many viewers. Since its finale just wrapped up earlier in the year, fans are still grieving over the end of an era. But thankfullly, Outlander in Concert lets viewers relive the most amazing moments from the series as carefully curated scenes are shown through a large HD screen and played in conjunction with a grand orchestra performing the soundtrack by Bear McCreary.

MY HERO ACADEMIA IN CONCERT

All you anime fanatics also get a piece of the action! The famous Japanese anime series My Hero Academia is also treated to a fantastic visual and aural feast with My Hero Academia in Concert! GHOSTBUSTERS IN CONCERT

What a timely show for Halloween! If you want some spooks during this spooky evening, then you can totally check out this 1984 classic. The film is paired with a live orchestra performing Elmer Bernstein’s score. This year, this concert film will go on tour and visit over 30 major cities. It’s perfect timing that this showdown arrives at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre on Wednesday October 31, 2026! The concert will also feature the Billboard Hot 100 charting theme song, “Ghostbusters.”
