Toyota Oakdale Theatre
Danny Go! is back on the road and ready to meet kids at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingrod, Connecticut. This stop will take place on Thursday, September 11th. It's a great opportunity to at least do something different. Many moms and dads out there have a lot to thank Danny Go for! This is, in essence, the premium kids' show on YouTube, and therefore, it's one of the easiest ways to entertain kids on demand. You don't have to surf through different apps to get your kids into a real entertaining show.
This theater experience, just like the different videos that the character is involved in, has the kids in mind from start to finish. It's obviously not an incredibly long show, usually about two acts with a long enough intermission for bathroom breaks and more popcorn. Younger kids who are fans of the show on YouTube are really going to appreciate this live experience. One of the best things about Danny Go! is that the real characters from the videos are the ones who will be taking the stage. Since kids are going to see them and hear the same voices, that moment where they feel them stepping out of the screen, so to speak, is surreal. Danny Go, and his friends are also very experienced in these live shows at this point. They know how to create that anticipation and those wow moments that kids love!
The show is crafted perfectly to include songs, some science experiments, and other shenanigans that the Danny Go character is a part of in the videos, but in a live setting. Thanks to that connection, kids are going to truly enjoy every aspect of the show. The key might just be the length of the various segments. This live experience was built to ensure nothing runs too long. That way, kids are not going to lose their focus on the stage. Just when you think the scene is going on for too long, you might get an intermission for a bathroom break and to fill up and get goodies.
A lot of these performances with Danny Go include plenty of audience interaction, with your kids having a chance to go on stage and participate. Don't want to give too many spoilers out here, but this is usually during the science experiment section of the show. If you're sitting closer to the stage, you tend to have a better chance of getting picked to participate. Also, giving kids this privilege of having perhaps one of their favorite characters so close can add to the overall experience. That's why, even though it's a theater show, it could make sense to sit close to the stage!
