The World’s Most Spectacular Queen Tribute Show has finally unveiled its new year itinerary! Gearing for a late quarter trip to Europe this 2024, One Vision of Queen feat. Marc Martel will first warm up with a flurry of US shows during the first half of the calendar, including a highly anticipated live concert special at Wallingford’s Toyota Oakdale Theatre on March 2.

Born from a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration, One Vision of Queen aims to recapture the thrill and theatricality of the celebrated British rock band’s legendary live shows. At its core is singer Marc Martel, who bears an uncanny vocal resemblance to Queen’s late frontman, with instrumental backing from Music Director Brandon Ethridge on keyboards, Mike Cohen on bass, Tristan Avakian on lead guitar, and Oskar Haggdahl on drums.
OVoQ concerts feature a highly diverse selection from Queen’s multi-awarded discography, with frequent appearances from greatest hits such as the crowd-starting “We Will Rock You,” the cathartic “We Are The Champions,” and the rockabilly “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.” As an added treat for die-hard fans, the act also includes imaginative covers of canonical classics by lead vocalist Marc Martel, with notable performances of “Ave Maria” and “Nessun Dorma” in previous events.
Marc Martel first came into prominence fronting the 5x Juno Award-winning Christian rock band Downhere. In 2012, surviving Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor handpicked Martel to lead their official tribute band, The Queen Extravaganza, touring around the world until 2016. He began his solo career in 2013 and has since garnered an impressively jam-packed reel of highlights, which include over 85 million online music streams, appearances in “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “American Idol,” and singing credits from the Academy Award-winning biopic, “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
The upcoming tribute concert will be hosted by the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT. Popular for its vibrant light shows, this multi-purpose performance hall will provide a perfect ambiance supported seamlessly by stellar acoustics and sightlines, with spacious seats for up to 4.800 viewers.
